The holiday season may have arrived and mum and dad had got their children dressed in their swimming costumes but some of these youngsters seem to be a little reluctant to take to the water at Clarence Park Lido in Bury in 1969.

The Lido has been a popular spot for families to relax for several generations but although some of the children are clearly pleased to be out in the sunshine, quite a few don't appear to be overly keen.
