A home and garden show is coming to Prestwich next month with a familiar face on TV making an appearance.
Organised by So Prestwich, the event will take place at the Fairways Lodge on George Street on Sunday, September 4 from 12pm to 4pm.
It follows on from the success of their cake and bake show in April and fashion and beauty show in June.
Designers, artists, craftspeople and independent retailers will be there selling everything from ceramics and candles to furniture and artwork and more.
Interior designer and property renovator, Sian Astley, will be one of our guest speakers.
Sian has appeared on TV shows such as Half Built House DIY SOS and Getting the Builders In, as well as project managing behind the scenes on Your Home Made Perfect.
She will be telling people how to follow the latest interior design trends while still putting their own personal stamp on things, such as using different paint techniques, buying key pieces of vintage treasure and upcycling.
Sian will also be giving tips on how to do up your home on a budget during the cost-of-living crisis.
RHS award-winning garden designer, Joan Mulvenna, will be hosting a garden masterclass where she will explain how to transform outdoor spaces, what things you can do on smaller budgets, and just exactly what we should be doing with our gardens as autumn draws in.
There will be a kids zone featuring crafts, seed planting, face painting and cake decorating.
Tickets are £7.50 and free for under 12s.
Tickets can be bought on at www.soprestwich.com/homeandgarden.
