Drug containers, a knife and a spanner were found after seven people were searched in a Bury park on Friday.
Officers stopped people at Manchester Road Park which led to one person being arrested and another being given a warning.
Bury police took to social media to report the work.
A force spokesman said: "The Redvales Team with Moorside and Prestwich conducted plain clothes work on Manchester Road Park today (Friday).
"They conducted seven stop searches, two were positive.
"One arrested and another warned.
"Several drug containers were located along with a spanner and knife."
