A MOTORIST has been charged with drink driving in Farnworth.
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) transport unit patrol vehicle reported catching the driver of a Ford Focus travelling at speed and mounting the kerb on Highfield Road.
The driver was stopped and provided a positive breath test before being arrested, according to police.
The driver will appear at court at a later date, which has not yet been announced, officers have said.
