A DELIGHTED youngster has designed the new logo for a Radcliffe school on its 10-year anniversary.
Coby, eight, was over the moon after winning the logo competition at the annual "Millwood Day" celebrations.
His winning drawing (as pictured below) will now become Millwood Primary School 's official logo.
He said: "I'm happy because I won. I enjoyed drawing the bus for the new logo".
The school was originally opened in 2012 by Oscar-winning director, Danny Boyle and to celebrate the decade anniversary, the children were treated to a whole range of activities
They planted an oak tree, a time capsule containing messages and pictures, had a model competition then made and most importantly, ate biscuits.
But the showstopper of Millwood Day for pupils was the soft play fun bus.
Head teacher Joanne Hurst said: "It was an absolute delight to see how much fun the children had during our special anniversary.
"Millwood Day this year coincided with the official launch of the school’s new logo and letterhead, alongside renewed vision and values.”
At the end of the day, pupils enjoyed an outdoor disco, dancing and listening to music from the last decade with classic dances like the Macarena, Cha Cha Slide and the Milkshake Song.
Joanne added: “It was such a fabulous day for our school community to join and celebrate together.
"Millwood Day this year also coincided with the official launch of the school’s new logo and letterhead, alongside our renewed vision and values.
“Our stakeholders have been on the journey together to create a new shared vision and our six core values of belonging, friendship, kindness, respect, enjoyment and love.”
