A church is getting ready to celebrate its 200th anniversary in style.
Tottington Methodist Church on Market Street will mark the landmark day on Saturday, May 21 with a performance by Tottington Public Band at 7pm, led by musical director Mike Turner.
As a special treat, the band will include three of Charles Wesley's most famous hymns in their programme.
Charles Wesley was the brother of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism in Britain.
Admission to the event will be by a "freewill donation", which will be shared by the band and the church to cover expenses.
All are welcome to attend and free refreshments will be served during the interval as well.
