National Trust Easter activities in Bury for 2022
Here’s a selection of the National Trust’s Easter activities in Bury.
Easter egg hunts
This Easter you can take your family to National Trust sites to search for Easter eggs.
Whilst there are none taking place in Bury itself, there is one to be found at Dunham Massey, which is about an hour drive away from the town.
The trail takes place until April 24, from 10am - 4pm each day and includes a trail map, pencil and edible chocolate treat.
It costs £3 per child for the trail and booking is not required.
If you wanted an alternative to Dunham Massey then you would need to travel outside of Greater Manchester to either Cheshire (Little Moreton Hill, Quarry Bank, Hare Hill etc...), Lancashire (Rufford Old Hall) or Liverpool (Speke Hall)
National Trust Easter Walks
If the idea of a family walk sounds like the best way to celebrate Easter, look no further.
National Trust sites such as the previously mentioned Dunham Massey, Little Moreton Hill, Quarry Bank and Hare Hill, all have numerous trails to show off the best of their sites for nature and wildlife.
Easter craft ideas
If you opt for a day indoors, there’s still fun to be had with the National Trust’s craft tutorials.
Videos on the website show you how to make Easter crafts including Easter baskets and a Bean-bag Easter chick.
You can watch the videos here and find out more about the National Trust’s Easter activities and things to do via its website here.
