A person was reportedly stabbed in the early hours of the morning outside in Bury town centre.

The incident, which has not been confirmed by police, occurred in the town centre on Bolton Street at around 5am this morning.

Videos circulating on social media show multiple police cars and other emergency services in attendance.

Officers and members of the public were seen attempting to help someone outside the bar. 

Their condition is not known.

Police are still at the scene and the area is taped off. 

On duty officers said the investigation is ongoing and enquiries are being made. 

Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
