POLICE have seized their fifth vehicle of the week in Bury, after a driver was caught speeding on Manchester Road.

The drivers’ licence has previously been revoked, meaning he wasn’t insured to drive the vehicle.

The GMP special unit have since summoned him to court.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton North said: “Another vehicle taken off the road by our GMP Specials - their 5th vehicle seizure this week on the Bury district.

“Driving at speed along Manchester Road is not the best when your licence has been revoked.

“Driver summonsed straight to court.”
