A Manchester cocktail bar has made it into the top 50 in the UK, and another has been named 'Bar Team of the Year'.
According to the Top 50 Cocktail Bar Awards, two bars in Manchester are worth a visit and are among the best in the UK.
The list is created by collecting votes from a hand-picked voting academy of industry experts.
The awards ask for the opinions of the academy to give them a list of high-end and unique cocktail bars across the UK.
These votes are counted and tallied to create the official list.
Best cocktail bars in Manchester
Schofield's Bar is the 16th best bar in the UK and is owned by brothers John and Daniel Schofield.
Celebrities such as Gary Neville often post pictures of them visiting the high-end boozer.
The academy experts write: "The menu consists of classic cocktails as well as crafted inhouse stylings created by the Schofields, along with beers, wines, Champagne and also some food.
"Cocktails are mostly priced between £9 and £12 but averaging at around £11 per drink.
"On a fun note, the brothers have also made available some of their favourite books for guests to read while enjoying a drink independently, which they’ve paired with cocktails."
Bar Team of the Year was given to Three Little Words in Manchester, a bar that is the home of the Manchester Gin distillery.
The list describes the bar as: "Nestled In the historical arches beneath Manchester central you’ll find a breath-taking bar and home of Manchester Gin distillery.
"The current menu is a love story inspired by the owners own romantic pairing. The menu moves from bright, fruity flavours of "lust", through Rapture and Devotion, to strong, bitter, more serious notes of "Ultimatum".
"A more than worthy winner of this year’s Bar Team award with their honest, authentic and warm hospitality."
