A DATE has been announced for the opening of Bury's new home, leisure and garden superstore.
The Range will open in the former Debenhams unit at The Rock at 9am on Friday.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 200 customers in the queue will all receive a gift bag with prizes worth over £2000 to celebrate the 200th store.
There will also be spot prizes for customers visiting on store opening day.
The three storey building has been transformed and the store will be officially opened by Bury Council leader Cllr Eamonn O'Brien.
The opening of the store has created more than 120 part-time and full-time jobs; from store and department managers to warehouse workers and retail assistants.
The new Bury store will become The Range’s 200th branch in the UK.
Bosses say the store and shop fit teams and staff have been working around the clock to get the store ready for the big reveal.
The store will stock products across 18 departments, from home décor and arts and crafts to DIY and petcare products
The new store in Bury will include an Iceland and there’s also an Iceland café in-store.
The store will also be home to kitchen showroom from Jonas & James, which offers market leading quality kitchens combined with outstanding value. The collections span from ultra-contemporary to traditional favourites and incorporate the latest on-trend colours.
Store manager, Debbie Whiting, said: "We are really looking forward to opening our doors on Friday, the new store will be a fantastic addition to the town and shopping centre and we are proud to open our 200th store here.
“We are delighted to open ahead of Christmas. Shoppers will be able to find everything they could possibly need to have a very special festive celebration from food and dining ware to exterior Christmas lighting, seasonal bedding and beautiful baubles.”

Store opening hours for The Range at The Rock will be open Monday – Saturday 9am – 8pm and Sunday 10.30am – 4.30pm
