SEVEN men have appeared before magistrates following a series of raids on homes in Bury, Heywood and Rochdale by police.

Detectives from the Greater Manchester force's serious and organised crime group were focusing on alleged drug supply across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Northern Ireland.

Eneo Zace, 34, of Lakeside, Bury, Lathert Pone, 31, of Downley Close, Tedi Hysesani, 28, of Peter Street, Redion Pupa, 23, also of Peter Street, have each been charged with conspiracy to supply and produce class B drugs and transferring and conspiracy to conceal criminal property.

Vito Lambardo, 31, of Gas Street, Heywood, and Andrew Hall, 55, of no fixed address, have both been charged with conspiracy to supply and produce class B drugs.

And Luke Spencer, 30, of Summit, Littleborough, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class B drugs.

All seven appeared before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court and were remanded to appear for a further hearing on October 20.
