ONE of the Bury FC bidders has pledged to make Gigg Lane a hub for the entire community.
Est 1885, which has an anonymous benefactor willing to bankroll ambitions for a fans-led club, has outlined their vision.
Under their proposals the ground would host keep-fit classes and a junior gym, adult education provisions and NHS clinics, An all-weather playing surface has also been suggested.
The group has also given further details of their proposed operating model.
A spokesman said: "While closure details are yet to be finalised, the ultimate title to the stadium and club will be held 51 per cent by a community benefit society (CBS).
"The charter of the new CBS and Bury FC will include a provision for the club to remain majority-fan-owned in perpetuity, all positions on the CBS side be member-elected, and operating budgets limited to maximise sustainability and to avoid any significant debt being incurred."
The bid is backed by fans group Forever Bury and borough MPs James Daly and Christian Wakeford.
