The Hare and Hounds in Ramsbottom
A BUSY road in Ramsbottom will be closed for 24 hours for repairs on a burst water pipe.
A temporary closure will take place on Bolton Road West from 7pm on Thursday, March 18 until 7pm on Friday, March 19, while United Utilities carries out essential work to repair a leaking water main outside the Hare and Hounds pub.
A spokesperson for United Utilities said: "Signage has been installed and letters have been sent to all local residents, and a nearby school, providing details of the diversion route which goes via Brandlesholme Road, Bolton Street, Peel Way, Walmersley Road, Manchester Road, Bury New Road and Bridge Street."
