A WASTE management company based in Bury has beaten off the possible effects of the Covid-19 pandemic by recording its best start to a new year.
WasteSURE, which saw a 400% upturn in turnover during January, has moved into 2021 with an increased number of staff and a £1m investment in new offices.
The company, who will soon be moving into new offices, says its growth is mainly due to the success of its water filtration media plant – an industry-first piece of machinery which removes up to 70 per cent more contaminant and recycles 98 per cent of waste product.
Mark Dunne, co-founder and MD of WasteSURE, said: “We operate across multiple industries and some have thrived during the pandemic.
“We are particularly proud to have purchased the former courthouse in Bury which will become our headquarters to take the company forward into the next decade during which we intend to continue our amazing growth.”
WasteSURE offers a host of waste solutions including skip hire, on-site waste storage, waste analysis and removal, and compliance management.
