A 35-year-old woman who died following a collision last week has been named as Radcliffe resident Marukh Aslam.
Police were called to a collision involving a black Audi A1 in Bolton Road West, Holcombe Brook, around 1:40am on Wednesday December 2.
Police say the car collided with a wall and the female passenger, 35-year-old Radcliffe resident Marukh Aslam, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have paid tribute to the former Abraham Moss High School pupil, saying she was "taken too soon".
Aslam's family said: "A daughter, sister, aunty, mother and a friend to many who was taken too soon.
"She was an extraordinary role model and a remarkable woman with good deeds who conquered the hearts of many.
"Heaven has truly gained an angel, you can now spread your wings, fly high and watch over all your loved ones... Gone but never forgotten, until we meet again beautiful."
A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs and police assault.
She has since been released on bail.
PC Suzanne Keenan, of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "This collision, very sadly, resulted in the death of the passenger. Our thoughts are with her loved ones.
"I appeal to anyone with information/ dash cam footage or who saw a black Audi A1 in the area beforehand to contact us."

An inquest into her death is set to open at Rochdale Coroner's Court at 9am on Friday December 11.
