A RADCLIFFE resident said that they spotted a triangular shaped object flying over the area - but the truth is sadly a little more boring.
The anonymous resident shared the photo they claimed to have captured on an infrared CCTV camera to the local 'Spotted: Radcliffe' page.
The accompanying caption read: "I sent this page a pic of a black triangle last year asking if it was anyone’s drone.
"I caught it again last night on my IR CCTV from the back of Rupert street. Just curious to know whose it is?"
Many users on the Facebook page debated what it could be - from simply being a drone to a UFO or a fighter jet.
However, a quick reverse image search revealed that the photo has been posted many times across the web, so thankfully, aliens don't appear to be invading yet.
That didn't stop the wave of hilarious replies to the post though...
One resident replied to the post: "It's obvious they come every year to abduct the cat population so let's See if you can triangulate it's position and heading and get all those missing cats back."
Another said: "Ask yourself this question.. "if aliens could travel millions of lightyears and had advanced technology, would they come to Radcliffe?"
A third said: "Probably that massive piece of Toblerone I threw in the air to catch in my mouth but never got back."
A fourth said: "Yay...the flying Dorito is back! I'll have the spicy ones please!"
Another kept it pandemic related, saying: "Well everything else is happening this year, why not have aliens too...as long as they keep a distance."
