Holy Cross College will be welcoming a new Principal to its centre in August ahead of the new academic year.
Carina Vitti will be replacing Dr Daveth Frost who is set to leave this summer after 12 successful years at the helm.
Carina is set to be supported by Rosie McKelvey, who previously worked at the College for several years in a number of leadership roles.
Rosie is also excited to be returning to be the Deputy Principal having spent the last few years as an Assistant Principal at St John Rigby College in Wigan.
Carina said: "I am delighted to be coming back to Bury to serve my own community and the College which gave me the opportunity to go to university and to have such a fulfilling career as a teacher.
"Holy Cross is a place where students thrive not only academically but also in terms of their moral and spiritual development with a firm commitment to supporting each and every student as an individual.
"I am very much looking forward to joining an extremely dedicated staff and wonderful student body this summer to continue the College’s long-standing tradition as a leading provider of education in Bury."
Carina's impressive career has seen her teach at Bishop Heber High School and Languages College in Cheshire, St John Rigby College and Sir John Deane’s College. Her last role was in Aquinas College, Stockport, as Vice Principal.
