AN inquest has been opened into the death of a psychiatric nurse who was found dead at his home in Radcliffe in December.
Jonathan Edward Craven, 48, was last seen alive on December 18, Rochdale Coroner's Court was told.
His sister, Sarah Craven, confirmed to police she returned home from work on December 19 and discovered her brother's body at the property in Olsberg Close.
The inquest heard Mr Craven suffered post-traumatic stress disorder after being attacked at work in 2013 and was on medication.
A coroner's officer told the hearing there was no evidence of any excess medication having been taken.
Mr Craven's inquest was opened and adjourned to obtain the results of histology and toxicology tests.
