TGI Fridays website temporarily crashed earlier- as fans of the chain-restaurant swamped its Click and Collect service with orders.
The Click and Collect service was launched earlier today, giving people the chance to order their favourite dishes before picking them up at the restaurant.
The Prestwich branch of the restaurant - one of 24 selected for the scheme- had to stop taking orders due to the response.
A specially tailored menu made up of 22 Fridays favourite dishes, covering a range of appetisers, mains, desserts and kids’ options is available from the establishments.
TGI Fridays tweeted to a customer earlier today: "Unfortunately, our Prestwich restaurant is currently unable to accept any new orders due to unprecedented demand.
"We're working to resolve this, so please check back later."
The website now appears to have been restored following the delay.
