THE River Irwell has burst its banks, according to Bury Council.
Residents in Redvales and Radcliffe are being advised to take urgent precautions.
A plan to evacuate is underway according to the Redvales councillor Tamoor Tariq.
Castle Leisure Centre will be the rest centre for residents in Bury being evacuated. Transport will be provided if needed.
Bury floods. In terms of Evacuation, Bury council is setting up a rest centre at Castle Leisure centre. Transport will be provided for those residents that need it. It’s important people follow the advice of the council and evacuate before things get worse
