A MAN has been charged with robbery over two incidents on women being tied up and burgled in their own homes.
Gary Spilsbury, of Bury New Road, Salford, was arrested by police on Friday and has since been charged with the two robberies, as well as two counts of fraud.
The incidents occurred in York Avenue, Prestwich, on Monday, September 30, and Bury New Road, Salford, on Wednesday, October 2.
He has also been charged with two previous burglaries at different addresses in Albert Avenue, Bury, and Bury New Road, Salford. on Saturday 21 September and Wednesday 2 October respectively.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 7.
