DETECTIVES are hunting for three men who threatened security guards during an armed robbery in Radcliffe.
The guards were filling a cash machine at the Spar shop in Moss Shaw Way just before 8am on Monday, when they were approached by masked men carrying a gun, a machete and a hammer. The men threatened the security guards and told them to hand over the cash.
Two gun shots were heard during the robbery, but no-one was injured.
A silver Toyota Celica car believed to have been used in the robbery was recovered from Forth Place, off Turks Road, later in the morning.
