A woman has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a mum of three from Bury.
Patricia Ann Davenport died after a disturbance at a party at a neighbour's house in Rutland Drive, Bury, in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Shortly after 4.30am, police were called to the house and found Patricia in a collapsed condition. She died at the scene.
Following a lengthy investigation, detectives have now charged Elizabeth English (37)of Lord Street, Radcliffe, with manslaughter.
The case was adjourned to a later date for trial and Engish was granted unconditional bail.
