FOLLOW your dream was the main message to students during Castlebrook High School's annual awards.
That was the theme addressed by headteacher Mr Anthony Roberts and former pupil Mr Chris Brogan who was guest of honour at the event. The ceremony marked the academic, sporting, music and drama achievements of pupils in Years seven to ten.
Ex-Sandhurst man Mr Chris Brogan, who left the Unsworth school 16 years ago, was a captain in the Royal Engineers and served in the bomb squad. He now runs a successful property company. He spoke to more than 1,200 students and staff at the annual awards.
Mr Roberts said: "Both Mr Brogan and myself encouraged the students to make the most of their opportunities and to pursue their dreams."
