BURY District Under-11s have completed their season with an impressive four-match winning run.

The local juniors have hit top form this summer, and they began their winning run with a three-wicket victory against North-east Wales on May 6.

Salford were next to succumb to the local lads when they went down by a massive nine wickets on May 23.

And Bury completed the double over the Salford youngsters when they beat them by six wickets in the return fixture on June 26.

Bury were pushed hard in their final game before running out narrow 20-run victors against Wigan on June 29.

Bury U13s have also fared well to date with Lancashire Schools' Hacking Cup wins against West Lancashire and Ribble Valley to their credit before losing out by 22 runs to Burnley in their quarter-final clash on June 26.

Bury U15s haven't fared as well with defeats against Rossendale and Salford blotting their copybook this season.
