WE would like to say a big thank you to the East Lancashire Railway for inviting us to join them for a splendid day on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the re-opening of the line from Bury to Ramsbottom.
A ride in a steam train, excellent music from a brass band, wonderful hospitality, and good Lancashire rain made the day a memorable occasion.
We look forward to our continued association with the ELR and wish them every success in the coming years.
