ARTISTIC Bury teenagers are using black cabs to spread the good news about Bury.
Ellie Whitehead, Abigail Coop and Sofia Melidoni - Year 8 pupils at St Gabriel's High School - used the themes of community spirit, sport and leisure, and Bury in Bloom.
Their work was sent to local graphic design agency Clock Creative for amendments, and will now be shown on two of the town's taxis. Councillor Michelle Wiseman, Bury Council executive member for safe and secure communities, said: "Young people's talents are often underestimated, and I think this work shows they have got very positive contributions to make. They say that community spirit and friendship are some of the things they like about Bury. That shows a very mature outlook indeed."
