AN eight-year-old boy was injured when a van he was travelling in tipped onto its side following a crash.
The white van was being driven by a relative of the youngster when it collided with a Ford Escort in Plumpton Drive, Bury, at 5.20pm on Sunday.
The pair managed to crawl out of the vehicle before paramedics and firefighters arrived at the scene.
The youngster was taken to Fairfield General Hospital for treatment to minor facial cuts and bruising. No-one else was hurt.
