POLICE have uncovered a fourth cannabis farm in Prestwich within a month.
Around 400 mature cannabis plants worth thousands of pounds were seized last Friday in a raid on a house in Lichfield Drive. The majority of the bedrooms and ground floor lounge had been used to grow the class C drug.
A man appeared before Bury Magistrates Court on Monday in connection with last Friday's discovery.
Vuong Van Tran (37) of no fixed address, was charged with the production of cannabis and abstracting electricity. He was remanded in custody until August 28.
