MORE than 200 guests turned back the clock to celebrate Radcliffe's olden, golden days.
The Civic Suite in Thomas Street hosted a special event to recall the days of yesterday, complete with old photographs and film shows of a bygone era.
And a special sing-song featured hits of the 1940s and 1950s.
Radcliffe Civic Suite and Radcliffe Library organised the popular event and many of the guests were residents at local nursing homes.
Samantha Williams, deputy manager of Radcliffe Civic Suite, said: "We had about three boards full of old photographs from Radcliffe Library and Ray Vevers of Radcliffe Carnival brought his own photographs and videos.
There was an old film show featuring Bury and the audience also saw many items of memorabilia."
The sing-song was led by vocalist Danielle Nevielle with members of the audience joining in.
Added Samantha: "This was the first event of its kind we'd ever held and another one is planned for October 3.
"Certainly, all the people who attended seemed to enjoy it."
