A search has begun for a parrot that has gone missing in Bury.
The African Grey parrot was recently rehomed by a parrot rescue in Rossendale, where she was homed by a family in Walmersley.
The microchipped bird escaped her adopted home ten days ago, and there has been no sightings or whistles since.
It is thought that the bird may have flown into into someone's open door, and that is a reason behind there being no sightings.
The parrot cannot be sold as the seller needs the birds paper to legally sell.
If anyone has the parrot, there will be no consequences, the owners and Rossendale Parrot Rescue and Rehoming just want her back.
If anyone has any information, please contact Kerstin Barz from Rossendale Parrot Rescue on 07741413888.
