SCHOOL prefects received a flying visit from the RAF to help them hone their leadership skills.
Tottington High School's 65 newly-appointed prefects were put through team building exercises by squadron leader Andy Manktelow.
The training day at the Laurel Street school was designed to help prefects develop leadership and team work abilities through problem solving.
Tasks involved negotiating a spider's web' without touching the strings, and a number challenge.
Zoe Newcombe, Head of Year 10, said: "The day was very beneficial. It showed just how well the students could work together. They are a fabulous group of youngsters who have shown they have the right skills to be very successful prefects"
Meanwhile model students raised £150 for FROTHS - the school's fundraising body.
Students chose the music and choreographed a dance routine for a catwalk fashion show.
