A 22-year-old woman has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a pregnant teenager in Bury.
Harmohinder Kaur Sanghera, of Monastry Drive, Solihull in the West Midlands, is accused of stabbing 17-year-old Sana Ali to death at her home in Throstle Grove, Brandlesholme, on May 11. Via a video link to Manchester Crown Court, she spoke only to enter a plea and confirm her personal details.
The dentistry student at Birmingham University was told she faces a ten to 15-day trial, beginning on November 13.
Sana Ali was found with multiple stab wounds in an upstairs bedroom.
She was ten weeks pregnant.
A pre-trial review will take place on October 19, at which Sanghera will again appear by video link.
