A NEW art exhibition is taking place at Bury Art Museum.
The new exhibition, Fountain Fountain, is based on the famous artwork Fountain by R Mutt in 1917 and will open on September 30.
A ten metre inflatable cinema will showcase artist Mike Chavez-Dawson’s ‘A Cinematic Becoming V1’, a series of moving images on a 65 inch screen sculpture.
The project will seek to exemplify the influential work through various collaborations. This exhibition launches the first phase of the project, before touring to London, New York and Paris.
As part of the opening, performances will take place featuring Ruby Tingle, Mark Butt, Simon Woolham and Luka Nayak.
Refreshments will be provided by Barefoot Bubbly, Fentimans and Neal’s Yard Remedies.
The preview of this exhibition will be at Bury Art Museum and Sculpture Centre on Saturday September 30 from 1.30pm until 3.30pm, entry free of charge.
Alongside the exhibition will be a series of free events relating to the work including performances, talks and workshops. For more information visit BuryArtMuseum.co.uk/FountainFountain
