LAST evening I had the great pleasure of attending the Bury Youth Services film premiere at the Met Theatre.
What a great Oscar' night! The six short films were made by groups of young people from all six towns in the borough, from initial story ideas to the finished production. Some very scary and some very funny!
The enthusiasm, skills, talent and commitment of the young people of Bury never ceases to amaze me.
Well done to all the young people involved in the film making and to Bury Youth Service for organising a very enjoyable celebration of six of the best'. I hope that there are more Oscar nights to come.
