Perhaps we could have these signs in Summerseat village? Peel Hall Road and the top of Bass Lane would be ideal locations.
The once quiet village is now visited by hundreds of motorists each day. These happy drivers could enjoy counting the hours and minutes between the signs as they slowly queue to get on and off the busy M66 motorway. The far-sighted Highways Agency who look after the motorways might even sponsor this wonderful new innovation to defer their cost.
