I WISH to thank everyone who attended Ramsbottom Heritage Society's 20th Anniversary Day at Ramsbottom Civic Hall on Sunday July 15 and helped to make the day a success.
The work the society has been doing in capturing and preserving the heritage of the town during the last 20 years was on display, demonstrating that despite not yet being back in its Heritage Centre home, the society remains active and thriving, and visitor numbers were rewarding. My particular thanks to all those members and friends who organised and exhibited at the event and to those founder members who were able to attend.
