A LEADING bank which is closing its Ramsbottom branch this autumn has employed a ‘community banker’ in an attempt to change the ways that customers bank.
NatWest has given Lee Daley the role, which covers the whole of the Pennine region, including Ramsbottom.
Natwest, whose Ramsbottom branch in Bridge Street is set to close in early October, says Mr Daley will work in communities affected by branch closures.
As part of his role, he aims to provide customers with personal assistance in “accessing the right banking options for their needs”, according to the bank, whose parent company RBS recorded an increase in profits of £163 million last year.
