A THREE-week honeymoon in Tuscany and Sorrento followed the wedding of Mr Richard Buchan Johnston and Miss Joanne Levell.
The bridegroom, of Stockport, is the son of Mr and Mrs D Johnston of Horsham Close, Bury, while the bride is the daughter of Mrs J Levell, of Timperley.
The couple were married at Hollin Hall in Bollington.
The bride's dress, designed by Suzanne Neville, was a fitted strapless design of silk with a lace bolero and short train.
Bridesmaids were Miss Rebecca Winkle, Miss Laura Winkle, Miss Chloe Cunningham and Miss Erin Cunningham, nieces of the bride, and pageboy was Master Thomas Winkle, the bride's nephew.
Best man was Mr Andrew Johnston, brother of the bridegroom, and groomsmen and usher were Mr Adam Davis, Mr Phil Whitnall, Mr Paul Winkle and Mr Colin Cunningham.
A reception for 90 guests was followed by an evening function for 130 at Hollin Hall.
The bridegroom has just been promoted to broadcast account director at McCann Erickson Communications and the bride is a section manager for Marks and Spencer, Manchester.
