THE marriage of Jacqueline Holden and John Trotman took place at St Mary's Church in Prestwich.
The bride, of Unsworth, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Graham Holden and bridegroom, of Sutton Coldfield, is the son of Mr and Mrs Roger Trotman.
The choral service was conducted by the Rev Jonathan Poston.
The bride wore a gown of Duchess silk and Parisienne lace, complete with a tiara and veil, and carried a bouquet of ivory roses.
The chief bridesmaids, her former university colleagues Marianne Jeanes and Jane Chuhan, wore antique gold silk dresses and the best man was Ross MacKenzie, a lifelong friend of the groom. The bride, a former pupil of Bury Grammar School and later an honours graduate from Oxford University, is a chartered accountant and director at Deloittes, the international firm of accountants in London.
The bridegroom, a graduate of Trinity College, Oxford, is also a chartered accountant and chief finance officer of a public company.
The reception for more than 100 guests was held at the Mere Golf Club and Country Club.
The honeymoon was spent in Vietnam and Cambodia after which the newlyweds were to live in West London.
