A RADCLIFFE primary school is saying goodbye to bullying with the help of a local company.
For travel agent Faraway Places, based in Water Street, Radcliffe, bought a pack of 35 anti-bullying books for children at St Mary's Primary School.
Director Malcolm Hordern decided to buy the information packs after being approached by the Children's Safety Education Foundation.
He presented the pack to headteacher Paul Heaton and pupils at the Belgrave Street school during a special assembly.
Mr Hordern said: "The foundation approached us and we thought it would be a good idea to buy the books. I have children of my own who were bullied and are now training to be teachers, and they think the packs are great. If they are successful at the school, we may consider doing something similar in the area."
