A WOMAN who wrongly thought a stranger having a drink was a paedophile found herself in court after slapping his face.
Tina Kelly (36), of Park Grove, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to assault before Bolton magistrates.
She had been in the Balmoral pub in Bradshawgate, Bolton, in April when another woman told her the man was a paedophile.
Kelly slapped him, causing a cut and swelling.
She received a 12 month community order with supervision and was ordered to follow an alcohol treatment programme, pay her victim £50 compensation and £43 prosecution costs.
