FILM fans have the chance to choose which movie will be shown at an open air cinema in Ramsbottom.
The town's Real2Reel cinema club plans to hold its first outdoor screening at Ramsbottom Cricket Club on September 13.
Organisers have drawn up a shortlist of five celluloid classics but are opening the final decision to a democratic public vote.
The shortlisted films are Thelma and Louise, the Birds, Moulin Rouge, Stand by Me and the Chinese epic Hero.
Readers can vote for the film they would prefer to see by emailing real2reeluk@hotmail.com. Contact details should be included because everyone that votes for the winning film will be entered into a draw to win four free tickets to the screening.
Real2Reel shows films at Ramsbottom Civic Hall every month. It will be screening Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's Babel on Wednesday, July 18. Doors open at 7.15pm.
