A MAN and woman from Bury have been charged with supplying 35kg of MDMA with an estimated street value of more than £1 million after police swooped on them on the M6 motorway.
Charles Hendrie, aged 29, and Leah Parkes, aged 27 years, both of Prospect Place, Bury, have been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs (MDMA).
They were arrested at Hilton Park Services on the M6 southbound on Wednesday and remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Cannock today.
