IT’S been a tense wait for the nominees in the Made in Bury Business Awards 2013, but the shortlists have now been announced.
The Made in Bury Business Awards, which are aiming to become a major annual event in the Bury business calendar, have been organised by thebest-ofbury in conjunction with Bury Council and Tower FM.
The shortlisted businesses were whittled down from six to three in each category at a meet and greet event at the Elizabethan Suite sponsored by Delicious.
Organisers say there was a real buzz in the room as the nominees and judges got to know each other and the event was a fantastic networking opportunity.
The judges then split into panels to deliberate over which businesses would make the final three in the shortlists.
The winners, as well as those businesses in second and third place, will be announced at a sparkling awards luncheon on Friday November 22 at the Longfield Suite, Prestwich.
