POLICE have released CCTV images of two women they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a purse.
It was stolen from the handbag of an 80-year-old woman while she was shopping at Bury Market on Wednesday August 28. The woman’s bank cards have subsequently been used at various shops and cash machines.
Det Con Donna Haldane said: “We are keen to identify the two women in the CCTV images. If you recognise them, please get in touch with police.
“Alternatively, if you have any information about this theft or who has been using the stolen bank cards we would be interested to hear from you.”
Anyone with information can call police on 0161 856 8181, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
