A MAN has been jailed for repeatedly stealing meat from a shop.
Reece Love, aged 24, of Bridge Hall Drive, Fairfield, went to Co-op shops in Bury three times in September and October and stole meat worth a total of £290. On another occasion, he tried to steal meat worth £66 from a Co-op Shop.
Love appeared before Bury magistrates on October 23 and admitted three counts of theft and one count of attempt theft.
Magistrates sentenced him to three weeks in prison. They said Love had shown a “complete disregard” for his community order and had a record of committing similar offences to fund a drug habit.
