POLICE want to speak to two women in connection with the theft of a purse in Bury.
At some point between 11.30pm and noon on August 28, someone stole an 80-year-old woman's handbag while she was shopping in Bury Market.
Afterwards, her bankcards were used at shops and cash machines.
Police have released CCTV images of two women and have urged Bury Times readers to get in touch if they can identify them.
Det Cons Donna Haldane, of Bury CID, said: "We are keen to identify the two women in the CCTV images. If you recognise them, please get in touch with police.
"Alternatively, if you have any information about this theft or who has been using the stolen bank cards we would be interested to hear from you."
Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 8181, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
