BONE James
Aged 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday 3rd October, 2024 at Southbourne Care Home in Torquay, Devon. He was born 26th December, 1930 in Bury, UK. In 1953 he married Francis Leah Fawcett of Radcliffe. Both shared a full and adventurous life exploring the UK and rest of the world. Jim briefly served in the RAF and worked on early Jet aircraft. A tale he always loved to tell. Jim worked as an electrical engineer for Central Electricity Generating Board until his retirement. He is survived by his son Matthew Bone, daughter-in-law Elaine, two grandchildren Christopher and Jennifer and two great grandchildren Vivian and Emma.He touched the lives of so many and
he will be dearly missed.There will be a short 30 minute service to celebrate his life at Torquay Crematorium at 11:30am on Monday 28th of October. (Hele Road, Torquay, TQ2 7QG) His ashes will be released for interment at Radcliffe Cemetery on 30th October at 2:30pm where he will be close to his beloved wife Leah.
